Just showed up@ Miami crazy ongoing code ( futile?) and female presented w neonate took a few min to determine home delivery 4 d ago at home and she said the baby was the patient but the bAby was fine. She had an orAl temp 105.1 hr 170 ( sinus) peritonitis +htn and pedal edema (pre ecclampsia?) to top it off. Started fluids abx hydral etc but obgyn was gone. Had to put her in a rangerover w me a translator godmother father baby and a driver and go several miles to ob hospital run by ?msf? Or the dutch? People were sort of crowded outside the gait and I sent the xlator to get guard to open gait but he would t. I don't know If it's my complexion or the scrubs-stethascope icon but I got to guard and gaits swung open. I signed her out to a hAtian obgyn who acceptd her. Doubt I'll ever find out how she did
