I'm actually on a computer--- ahhh so easy to type.

When we were at the St Damiens hospital we spoke to the boss and exchanged numbers and a plan that we can call ahead to send admissions and confirm bed availability and send consults and things out of our ability with a doctors note to be seen.  He was both happy with the plan and relieved that someone was finally communicating with him prior to sending people.  I cant tell you how difficult communication is,  no one knows eachothers phone numbers and most communication either doesnt happen or occurs after a 1 hour drive thru traffic for a face to face meeting.  this felt productive

  1. I second that. When I first got to PAP, it took me 2 days to figure out where Miami field hosp. was. No one it seemed even knew it existed. Only way I knew was watching CNN in the states before I went to PAP. Oh yeah, that was the same day I sadly learned the Israeli feild hosp. had packed up and left.
